A little down the road from Roulous, we find the stilt village of Kompong Phluk, on the edge of the flooded forest in the floodplain of the Tonle Sap Lake. Depending on the season this village is only reachable by boat. We buy sweet water shrimps and enjoy lunch on the boat as it meanders through the flooded forest. Swimming is very refreshing, and along the way we spot various birds. Kompong Phluk can be visited by road in the dry season.
